September sees us take to the stage once again to warm it up for one of folk’s best-loved names. With a professional career spanning more than 35 years, Phil has a rich catalogue to dip into for his solo shows. Expect an eclectic blend of traditional tunes, the occasional nod to Springsteen or The Hollies, alongside his own compositions and songs by fellow musicians he admires.

Set on the edge of the canal in Tavistock, The Wharf is a friendly little venue that punches well above its weight. From live music and comedy to theatre and community events, there’s usually something going on, often with a good bar nearby, which never hurts.

It’s relaxed, welcoming, and proof that you don’t need a huge stage to have a really good night out.
